The Choice is Mine

Vacations are wonderful things. They help you forget to be impatient about certain things. In my case, that would be Augie Choice. While I was having a ball up north on Lake Vermilion, a lovely white envelope arrived at home containing something from the Business Office at Augustana College. My heart leaped when I opened the envelope to reveal a check for $2000! Yes, I finally received the funds from Augie Choice, and they awarded me the full amount available. I am extremely grateful because I know now that I will have enough money for food and other necessities while I am in London. I am amazed at how well everything has come together. At this point, I am only waiting for a letter and a few more e-mails with more specific information about arrival procedures. Then, all I need to do is pack, and I'll be on my way in just 18 short days. I would like to thank you all again for your continued support as I draw closer to my departure date. I would also like to thank you for reading my blog in its first not-very-exciting weeks. I am more than confident that the posts in the weeks and months to come will be infinitely more interesting. I can't guarantee that this will be my last post before London, but I can tell you that there may only be one more post from Minnesota and then my London adventures will begin at last!
